Ten days after you’re approved by Medicare, you’ll receive a confirmation letter that includes your ID card. At this point, you can use your benefits. Be sure to show your health care providers your new ID card.
Shortly after you receive the letter, you’ll get a welcome kit that includes the evidence of coverage and formulary. Review these items to understand your benefits and keep them handy in case you need to look them over.

If something is wrong with your ID card, or you need to order a new one, contact us.
If your plan includes a premium payment, we offer three ways to pay it. Depending on which method you choose, you may or may not receive a printed bill.
You will receive a monthly premium bill in the mail, and you may pay by check. Notices are mailed on the 15th of each month with a due date of the 1st of the next month. For example, your June 15th bill will be due July 1.
Your monthly premium is withdrawn automatically from your checking or savings account on the 4th business day of each month. Download the ACH form. Complete and print the agreement form. Mail the completed form as instructed.
Your monthly premium is deducted directly from your Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefit check. You can change your billing option at any time. Contact us.
Finding out if your prescription is covered is easy with our online formulary. It’s updated regularly, so you may confirm your medications online. You will also receive a printed formulary in your welcome kit.
